Misha – lifting to the nines

The increasingly larger looking Mikhail Koklyaev – Misha to you and I – has been showing off his impressive rep endurance with weights most would be happy to call their one rep max.

First up we have a 312.5kg / 698lb squat for 9 reps with only a belt:

Continuing the theme of nines Misha decided to see what he could do on the deadlift front too:

362.5kg / 799lb for another 9 reps and again with only a belt.

Misha is clearly getting stronger and stronger – let’s hope it has some good carryover to strongman and that we’ll start to see him vying for podium positions on the international stage. Such a charismatic strongman deserves a trophy or two!
