With this year’s World’s Strongest Man only a couple of weeks away we still haven’t had confirmation of a final lineup. That said, there are a few cheeky rumours spreading around the internet that we’ve compiled for your pleasure below:

The first rounds are due to take place in Sanya, China on 17th-20th August with the final happening 23rd-24th August.
There’s a noticeable absence in the form of Derek Poundstone who qualified earlier this year in Melbourne. It’s a shame he can’t make it – here’s hoping he hasn’t left the strongman game for good.
First reserve is British strongman Lloyd Renals with Robert Cyrwus rumoured as number two.
